Does your puppy bite or chew on things?

Is your puppy biting you or chewing on things you don't want it to? there are a few very simple tips i can give you that will help or possibly end this terrible behavior problem

First of all realise that your puppy may be biting you because he/she wants to play you cant always punish your puppy for this, it will be your judgment to decide how hard your puppy is biting and to see if it is in a good playful mood or not to stop a puppy from biting you here are a few tips i have

1. Grab the bottom jaw of your puppy and apply slight pressure to the tongue and the bottom of the jaw - this one may not always help you may just anger your puppy with this
2. When you puppy bites you take its lip and apply slight pressure on his lip to the point of one of his teeth, this will show him very quickly that when he bites it hurts and that you don't
3. If he starts biting you push him back away from you a little bit and tell him no eventually he will get the idea that he isn't supposed to bite you
4. If none of the above work for you... i suppose you could always bite him back :)    (lol don't do that i was just kidding)

Now if your puppy is chewing on things you don't want him to chew on this is very hard to break your puppy of but i have a few tips on this as well

1. Catch your puppy in the act, if you discipline him after too long he wont know why your disciplining him at all
2. Anything on the floor that you don't want your puppy to chew on put away somewhere. its a puppy if it looks like it might be fun for a puppy trust me they will play with it and chew it up. (Note: EVERYTHING within reach of a puppy is something fun for them to play with)
3. They do make a spray that has many different horrible flavors and it WILL stop your dog from chewing on the things you spray it on you can get this spray from any pet supply store in your area
4. Lastly Always do the same thing when disciplining him for certain things he will then associate the act he has committed and the punishment he got
